Jen Wilson has taught at the elementary, middle, and high school level and is currently serving as a high school Reading Specialist in Columbia, Maryland. She is passionate about literacy instruction, and works closely with students to help them improve their literacy skills. She also provides professional development for her school, district, and state to help teachers improve their disciplinary literacy practices. She is always looking for ways to improve her professional practice, and can often be found reading professional literature and utilizing social media resources to find ways to better serve students and teachers. She earned a Master of Arts in Teaching and Master of Science in Education from Johns Hopkins University and is currently enrolled in theContemporary Curriculum Theory and Instruction: Literacy at Salisbury University to earn her Doctorate degree.
