Candy Mulligan

K-4 Supervisor of ELA in Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District in Somerset County, New Jersey

Candy Mulligan currently serves as the K-4 Supervisor of English Language Arts in the Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District in Somerset County, New Jersey.  In her role, she supports teachers across seven primary schools in their efforts to build a strong literacy foundation for the district’s youngest readers and writers.  Candy’s passion is exploring new and innovative ways to engage teachers in professional learning. She stands by her conviction that the most important thing students and teachers have in common is that they both need to be trusted to take ownership over their own learning.  Although she has served in a supervisory role for the past 11 years, Candy’s work with teachers is grounded by 13 years of her own experiences teaching students in 6th, 5th, 2nd and 1st grades.
